FLAT PROFILE FARMFLEX® ROLLERS

The flat-profile rollers are particularly supple to permit maximum self-cleaning even in wet conditions. They are used for different types of soils and applications, working surface soil more than deep soil. The large-diameter rollers (420, 540 and 700) excel in sandy soil thanks to their large surface in contact with the soil.

The CT and CTX profiles are flat with a light tread pattern; the CRTX and CRTXR profiles have cleats that leave cuts in the soil that prevent crust formation, with the added advantage that the roller is easier to pull. The CRTXR version is a new reinforced roller made of harder rubber for very intensive use, heavy loads, and tough soil conditions.

Uniform surface tamping. Soil levelled perfectly, with tread patterns that limit crusting. Very supple and therefore very self-cleaning profile, even on clayey land.

WAVE-PROFILE FARMFLEX® ROLLER

Wave-profile rollers (LCTX and LCTXL) are intermediate solutions between flat rollers and furrowers.

They combine the suppleness of flat profiles with the agricultural efficiency of furrower profiles.

The range comes in 3 diameters: 545, 620, and 750 mm.

Positive cleats leave a tread pattern on the soil that reduces crusting and erosion.

Wave-shaped tamping with "positive" cleats that trap water and reduce crusting.

FURROWER PROFILE

The LTX is certainly the most popular OTICO furrower roller, and the most widely used all across Europe regardless of the type of soil. It is a top favourite for its agronomic functions. With its reinforced rubber structure (with metal inserts and thick rubber), this roller is ideal for intensive use, with heavy loads and on tough terrain (stony soil, etc).

Another type of roller in this same family is the LSTX which has the same profile as LTX but with an "S" tread pattern. This tread pattern allows it to revolve better when pulled along the ground, which means that it won't stop turning even in certain slightly clumpy sticky soils.

In certain conditions, LTX and LSTX rollers can travel on public roads, depending on its weight and how it is mounted on the machine (check with our technical engineers).

LWSTX is also a furrower roller but with a smaller row interval (62.5 mm) as opposed to the other rollers with a standard interval of 125 mm.

Frames and scrapers can be supplied as options; the scrapers are made of steel and highly resistant to abrasion.

The LTX 588 is the newest in the OTICO range. It stands out from the other LTX by its distinctively ogee shape which makes it exceptionally supple and self-cleaning. It does not need scrapers.

Furrower tamping for deep consolidation. Facilitates water take-up by capillaries in tamped lines and water drainage in non-tamped lines. Increases gas exchange surfaces. Perfectly designed for sowing and false sowing.

FARMFLEX® ROLLER PROFILE

Roller made of ultra-supple FARMFLEX® rubber tires that tamp the soil in all directions uniformly. The pads between the tires flatten the soil and break up clumps.

Accelerates shoots (or weeds depending on how it is used) which is why it is called Greenbooster.

Greenbooster also comes without pads: LCX 585 and LCX Twin.
