Flat-profile rollers exert moderate and uniform pressure on the top few centimetres of soil. This promotes uniform consolidation, accelerating drainage whilst preserving the moisture necessary for crops to get off to a good start.
- Studs: reduced soil compaction and improved traction!
All flat-profile rollers are fitted with studded treads that leave an impression in the soil to reduce compaction in sensitive soils.
Furthermore, the presence of lugs enhances the natural traction of OTICO rubber rollers.

Thanks to their internal and external structure, flat-profile tyres are particularly flexible, giving them excellent self-cleaning capability and enabling them to operate effectively in difficult conditions.
- High load-bearing capacity
Thanks to their large ground contact area, flat-tread rollers have a high load-bearing capacity, enabling them to be used for specific applications: front packer, front hopper, etc.
Versatility
Suitable for several stages of soil preparation, the roller can be used for:
- stubble cultivation after harvest, ensuring optimal compaction to retain moisture.
- pre-sowing preparation, by refining the surface and reconsolidating the topsoil.
- sowing, by improving the consistency of depth and the stability of the seed row.
- relieving the load on front-mounted implements such as front packers, front seed hoppers or rear implements (planters, etc.)
- preparing the ground for equestrian use

Frame & scraper rail options
All OTICO rollers can be fitted with a frame and a scraper bar specially designed to suit each tyre profile. These robust components, developed for heavy-duty use, guarantee optimal roller cleaning and ensure high performance, even under the most demanding working conditions.
